Kathryn Gore Thompson manages Rockhall’s sales and marketing effort. Kathryn is effective with top commercial real estate executives because she spent most of her career as a top commercial real estate executive. Prior to Rockhall, Ms. Thompson established a development company that constructed over 25,000 homes and four million square feet of commercial space. This business grew to be the tenth largest home builder in California before she sold it. Ms. Thompson also spearheaded a successful $800 million effort to produce 9,000 units of multifamily housing for military personnel. Ms. Thompson has received numerous industry and civic awards including the University of California Sumigarden Award for lifetime achievements in real estate and the community and induction into the California Builders Hall of Fame. In the 1990’s, Kathryn received a Presidential appointment to the board of directors of FNMA. Kathryn is an avid reader, skier and loves to cook and entertain, especially for her family and grandchildren. Ralph is a senior originator with Rockhall. Ralph has over thirty years of experience in commercial real estate development and finance. Ralph began his career at E.F. Hutton before becoming a commercial mortgage originator for Huntoon Paige and Arbor National Commercial Mortgage. Ralph has originated well over $1 billion in commercial mortgages. Mr. Daruns, a former member of the Board of Directors of the National Multifamily Housing Council, received his BA from Colgate University and an MBA in Real Estate Finance from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. Ralph, an avid reader and history buff, lives and works in Dallas, Texas.

Scott has served as Executive Vice President and Chief Underwriter since Rockhall was created in 1998. Prior to Rockhall, Scott was a senior officer at two other New York based commercial lenders. From the mid 1980’s to mid 1990’s Scott worked in mortgage trading and finance on Wall Street. Scott came to Wall Street from FNMA after completing a Congressional Fellowship year on the staff of the U.S. Senate Subcommittee on Housing and Urban Affairs [link]. Scott has a Ph.D. from Penn State, a Master’s in City Planning from San Diego State and an A.B. from Brown University. Scott has volunteered his time as Chairman of the Town of Huntington Housing Authority [link] and on his local village Conservation Board. Scott is a member of the Finance and Stewardship Committee of the United Methodist Church of Huntington/Cold Spring Harbor.

Dov is a Vice President and FHA Underwriter with Rockhall. Dov is responsible for the company’s pipeline of FHA multifamily and healthcare mortgage applications. Dov is experienced with all FHA MAP and LEAN mortgage programs with a particular expertise in new construction. Prior to Rockhall, Dov worked as a loan processor and underwriter with two other New York area commercial mortgage lenders. Dov received a B.S. in Finance summa cum laude from Touro College. Dov is an avid water and snow skier. Dov and his wife Aviva live in Fresh Meadows, Queens with their recent addition, Aliza.

Robert (“Avi”) is Vice President of Finance. Avi oversees Rockhall’s finances and is responsible for the company’s financial reporting, closings and secondary marketing operations. Prior to Rockhall, Avi was an audit associate with Grant Thornton, L.L.P and a project accountant with a New York-area real estate developer. Avi received a B.S. in Accounting from Touro College, graduating summa cum laude, is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and is a member of the NY State CPA Society and AICPA. Avi is currently taking courses and accumulating experience towards becoming an approved FHA underwriter. Avi enjoys snowboarding and lives in Kew Gardens Hills, Queens with his wife Rebecca and their baby daughter Miriam.

Joe is a Vice President with Rockhall.  Joe handles loan applications, accounting and provides marketing support to the sales force. Prior to Rockhall, Joe worked at Ernst & Young on the Government Audit Assurance Staff and as an audit intern at Price Waterhouse Coopers. Joe’s first working experience was with his family’s business, Factory Steel, in Detroit. Joe is a licensed Certified Public Accountant and presently is working toward an MBA in finance from Loyola University. Joe is accumulating experience to become an approved FHA underwriter.  Joe is a gifted musician.

Candia is Vice President of Servicing. She has been in charge of all aspects of Rockhall’s mortgage servicing operation since she established it in the guest room of her Reston VA home in 1999 and currently manages Rockhall’s Reston VA office. Candia and her staff work with both developers that are new to FHA as well those more experienced throughout the construction process on our new construction projects as well as handling our permanent loans. Prior to Rockhall, Candia was a senior commercial mortgage servicing officer for RER Resources, Patrician Financial and Travelers Realty. Candia also served on Customer Advisory Committees for McCracken Financial and FannieMae for both Multifamily Committing & Delivery and Asset Servicing. Candia holds an A.A.S. in Accounting cum laude from Northern Virginia Community College. Candia and her black lab Nikita are active members of Fairfax Pets on Wheels [link]. All of Rockhall is proud of Candia’s son Sam who has served his nation with tours of duty in Iraq, Afghanistan and Kosovo.

Christy is a Commercial Loan Administrator with Rockhall and works in our Reston VA office. Christy is a licensed financial specialist and has twenty years of experience in various aspects of commercial banking; including experience with processing and servicing of commercial loans. Christy attended Northern Virginia Community College and the Reporting Academy of Virginia. Christy is an active volunteer with the March of Dimes. Christy is an avid dog lover and currently resides with her terrier Sadie and her parrot Quackers who loves to sing Hail to the Redskins.

Jennese is a Commercial Loan Administrator with Rockhall and works in our Reston VA office. Jennese has fifteen years of experience in various aspects of commercial banking; including experience as a commercial loan administrator. Jennese’s experience also includes time spent as a home health care worker as well as volunteer work at local nursing homes. She also served on Senator Byrd’s personal staff. Jennese attended Strayer University and is currently pursuing a degree in Finance. Jennese has one daughter who is currently attending college in MD.
